A serpent that resides in the jungle. The anaconda is one of the largest snakes of the approximately 2600 known snake species. Some have reported seeing anacondas longer than 40 meters, but they were probably drunk. Being semi-amphibious, the anaconda can often be found in the rivers of the amazon jungle. It is not poisonous, but its enormous strength allows it to kill even large mammals and alligators.
