A shark in monster form. The American movie "Jaws" popularized the use of dramatic shark attacks on humans in fiction. Real sharks typically eat small fish and plankton, attacking humans only if provoked. It is, however, sensitive to the smell of blood, so already-wounded animals, including humans are at risk, regardless of provocation. Of the 400 kinds of sharks in existance, only 30 have been reported to have attacked people.
